Hey! Nosukii here and…I’m totally obsessed with this song [STAR RISE] from Bamboo Blade. Especially the remix version! Haha anyways…I went to the SoCal Spring Gathering! Let’s get to that…

All in all, it was really fun! There turned out to be more Touhoes than I originally thought…I spent the whole day with SakuraNek0 and YasonoJ and his friends. :3 We took a lot of pictures…so much that my camera died afterward. XD Thankfully we got in all the shots that we needed. There was a Yuuka(me), Tenshi{genderswap}(my brother), 2 Marisas (Sakunek0)(Yaso’s friend), Sakuya(Yaso), and Reisen(Yaso’s friend). Yeah and we spent the whole day taking pictures and getting to know each other. But I guess I wouldn’t have had it any other way!

Oh! And there was this one guy, Banzatou http://banzatou.deviantart.com/ was such a nice guy! He drew us all sketches of the characters we were cosplaying. I put mine up on my wall. Thank you kind sir!

Hmm what else..Oh yes! My best friend Karen was able to come with us! She’s the one who took all the pictures. So all credit goes to her for that . :3

Anddd Mother’s Day was today! So, Happy Mother’s Day to all you…Mothers. We went for breakfast and yogurtland today…And then my mom had to get to sleep.

Nosukii’s Cosplay Progress Post #2!

Anyways…Hm. OH YEAH! Anime Expo! If you’re a Touhou Project fan and you haven’t heard the news, we’re planning a Touhou gathering. I’ll update more on that later when we have a time and date. Let me tell you. I LOVE my skirt fabric….SO…MUCH. I originally couldn’t decide on the skirt color because in the art, it’s two-toned and kind of blotchy looking. But I found some nice blotchy looking fabric in the PERFECT colors. It was expensive but hey…Accuracy isn’t cheap. LOL The vest is pretty much done, but it needs an iron. The hairpiece is ALMOST done, it just needs the two dangling red strings and I already have a hair-comb to attach it to.The flowers…I’m still cutting those out. And adding gradients.

It just takes sooo long to cut and color them all. But at least I started early. I have leaves too but I didn’t picture those.

Okay so this one needs a lot of work. I can’t get the wig to stay in shape. BUT omfg, I was so sad. It was such a gorgeous long soft red wig and I hacked nearly ALL of it off. Also, temporary headband until I make mine. I need to make shoooes. Need to stitch on the cross-bones and heart onto the sleeves, and finish the skirt. I’m making the tights/thigh-highs because I couldn’t find ones with wide enough stripes.

Unfortunately I haven’t started on Hina yet. I should probably do that soon. I only have 2 months or so. Ack. I need more money too.

Lol anyways…Yeah so, the SoCal Spring Gathering is soon. KAZAMI YUUKAAA. I have a huge parasol and I’m hoping to have it fixed before Anime Expo rolls around. I don’t have time before the SoCal meet. :< Too much school stuff going on and I need to figure out how to make an umbrella cover. So I can make a new one for my parasol.

Hmm…I think that’s about it for now. I’ll try to update more… I HOPE. Oh well, there’s always twitter. LOL See ya!

So me and Mina haven’t blogged in forever. But yeah, we had quarter-finals last last week and -sigh- man I am beat. We’re finally on spring break though! Even though everyone already had theirs. We’re a little late. Haha

I’ll give you some….news. Teehee.

-Ookawa Genki ; He’ll be lending his voice to the new otome gamed entitled “Little Anchor”! Looks interesting. It’s a mecha otome game and it seems like you can actually give commands and whatnot.If you click the link to the OHP you can check out the characters. Genki’s character is the red-haired kid Lucio, I think. BUT to be honest, I like the blue-haired glasses guy, Yukino the most. Ahhh~ glasses. XD

- JURI ; He’ll be on the next cover of Dengenki LAYERS(cosplay magazine)! In his HaruToki outfit from the musical. Congrats for making the cover~

- KENN ; Aside from being the lead for Vitamin Z, he’ll also be in a project called Velvet Under World which was created by Takehito Koyasu. It’ll be a series of  “character CDs” and one of which KENN will do. He’s playing as Dry, who is a hacker. Somehow very fitting for KENN. XD

- If you haven’t heard, 4th Cast Seigaku for Tenimyu will be graduating. :< -sigh- How sad. I rather liked 4th cast.

Onnn another note…I really want to see the new Takumi-Kun Series movie. Watanabe Daisuke and Hamao Kyousuke? What a weird pairing. Haha But it seems okay from the trailer…

Oh and I started listening to Gackt again. I don’t see why I ever stopped but yeah. Since Journey through the Decade was used for Kamen Rider Decade. :3 Went back and listened to his other stuff.

And that thing with Miyavi? Getting married and knockin up some girl. Man…Shit was so cash. LOL! No, I keed haha. But in all seriousness…I was a bit surprised. But hey, at least he’s taking responsibility for it.

‘Sides that…Oh! My lucky ass got into COSMODE! DAI SEI KOU! :3 I’m going to buy the issue to remember it.

AND AND AND! ANIME EXPO!! Only what? 2 1/2 more months to go!! I haven’t even started on Akyu or Hina. May the cosplay gods and goddesses shine upon me and let me finish my cosplay before AX! I really don’t want to be working in the hotel room like last year. >.>And I want to finish at least a week early, just so I can chill and TAKE IT EASY before con time.

Knowing my luck, that won’t be happening.

Oh and I’ve already started picking new cosplays for next year and just..random photoshoots and stuff.

…Which is kinda sad seeing as I have no monies to fund those projects as of yet. >.>But that’s okay. After AX I’ll start saving money again and hopefully get a headstart on ALA2010.

I’m sorry it’s so short. I really wish this song was longer. It’s so pretty! I like the first line a lot just because it says “Gin no mori” which translates into “silver forest”. Lol I’m so lame.

In other news, if you haven’t heard..Ookawa Genki is releasing a new CD. It’s called [JUST ONE!]. He sure is on a roll…

Annnd there will also be in a stage play put on by Ludvico called “Little Alice～少年アリスの時間割～“. Basically, Alice in Wonderland. Genki will be the Mad Hatter. YOH is also going to be in this as the Cheshire Cat. Hayashi Shuji will be “Time” which I assume is the White Rabbit. Suzuki Hiroki(Koko wa Greenwood/Saiyukimyu) will be Griffon. The…Um…Well, on Ludvico it says “the boy who wants to be a girl” so…erm..yeah. I swear I don’t remember anything about that but okay.

Lol I really want to see this. ALSO WTF KUROSHITSUJI MUSICAL?! Since fucking when?! But yes, I do want to see it. Just because Sakamoto Shougo (4th cast Tenimyu) will be playing Ciel. :> And Uehara Takuya(FROGS/Shitenmyu’s Kenya) will be playing Grell. Though somehow I can’t picture Takuya playing Grell…

Anyways! Hmm Oh! I finally got to listen to Kazuki Kato’s new single Venom. And ahhhhh…It’s so good. Especially Venom! <3 I just fell in love again. OH! I was also able to watch The Imperial Presence Hyoutei Gakuen with Kazuki Kato and Saitou Takumi. No offence to Kubota Yuki and Akiyama Shintarou but holy shit. Kazuki and Takumi just sing their songs soooo much better. Originals! And they were able to sing Season again. TAKUYA…always crying. But I loved it…every single minute of it..

And Dream Live 6th. My god, these things come and go so fast! It’s also 4th Casts’ last run. Awww…They were good…

Mm…what else…Oh yeah. Anime Expo! Still a long way away but preparing early never hurt. Haha, well..It turns out my dad will be paying for the hotel…Er..I didn’t really ask him to but..He will. WHICH IS SO AWESOME. I love my dad…so much…Mom doesn’t give a rat’s ass about it so yeah. Now I just need to finish all my cosplays before then and I’ll be good. :3

Oh yeah, I spent the day at Mina’s grandmother’s birthday party. It was fun and extremely funny. He grandmother slapped my ass. As did Mina’s mom. Initiation into the family they said. >.> Her mom/aunt made it sound wrong. Like we were together. Ew. No. Would not date Mina. LOL No offense. I don’t swing that way. >.>

Uhh yeah. Just got home about 2 hours ago. Pretty tired. I’ll probably hit the hay soon. Oh yeah! I’m not sick anymore! Hooray!

And we have quarter finals next week. :< And then spring break. Then STAR testing, and then AP testing. There’s sooo much going on. So we’ll see what we’ve got time for. Until then…

Hey everyone. Nosukii here. Um, just a small update I suppose.

Yeah, I just changed the layout. I’ve been meaning to do it, but I hadn’t the time to do so. Here it is now though, for spring.

On another note, I’m running a slight fever. Which sucks majorly. I haven’t had a fever since…a long time ago. Probably won’t go to school tomorrow either. Sorry Mina, gotta leave you with the annoying devil.

-sigh- Pretty much spent the day in bed. Doing nothing. Sleeping. Can’t eat anything….Not like I can taste it anyways. Can’t smell anything. I watched TV all day. America’s Next Top Model re-runs and MSNBC. All. Day. Trust me, it’s not as fun as it sounds.

…I actually didn’t think it could get this bad. I actually cried. For like, 15 minutes. Because it hurt so much. My head felt like it was going to explode and my stomach hurt all day. ;^; Wa~h.Also, It’d be cold and I put a blanket over myself and then it’d feel like my whole body was on fire. Then cold. Then hot. Then cold. Then hot. I don’t like it~

I guess…that’s all. I guess I should get to bed. My head is pounding again. Augghhhh…

Mou Hitotsu No Birthday

So apparently, my parents, who are extremely unsocial, have decided that instead of inviting people over for my sixteenth birthday next month that they would much rather prefer to have my party on the same day as my grandmother’s annual Easter party (We’re not very religious, so the celebration is very much casual). I’m not entirely sure what to think of this. The  people who usually come to my grandmothers parties are my second cousins, my great-aunts, people who aren’t in my normal circle of family, so I will be celebrating my birthday with these people. Not too bad, but these extended family members haven’t celebrated my birthday since i was five (Little Mermaid party FTW!), so they’re supposed to give me birthday presents, which is going to feel weird.

It’s not that i don’t want presents (if you can name a more pleasurable simple pleasure than ripping off shiny wrapping paper and tying your hair up in the leftover ribbon, I’ll give you the world), but I have no idea what to ask for. My mother always told me it was in bad taste to ask for money, since it’s not personal enough, and I can’t ask for clothes, because I’ve had too many clothes that were given to me not fit (not to mention I have very specific tastes). So what to ask for?

I asked my mother for a Red Ipod Nano (fourth generation), and I asked my grandma for a purse I’ve wanted (which i will describe in later detail), but other than that I have no idea what I would like. I’m the type that has to walk through a store to know what I want, I can’t name something off the top of my head. I do want something with Charmmy Kitty though. I find it hilarious that Hello Kitty has a pet cat.

This may have just done me in. I love bunnies, and ballet, and roses! Not so much sisters, but that’s okay. These characters are spin-offs of the considerably less cute “Sugarbunnies”. They already have tons of merchandise, all in a whimsical, ribbon and lace ballet theme. Which brings me to…

The Bag.

Ahhhhh. The Bag. This bag… it’s incredible…

Well, some may see it as tacky, but I have a thing for novelty bags, or just ones with cute characters on them.

I’ve given up on finding a bag to match everything, so I’m going a tad out of the box on this one. The blue goes with nothing I wear, but whatever.

Next thing on my list is to track down  a Swan Lake-Themed bag. I saw ones years ago and thought $30 was too much to pay for a bag (how young and dumb. It was a very large bag, too). The same thing happened with a Jem adn the Holograms shirt Hot Topic had two years ago. I thought it was too expensive. REGRET.

And now I’m too old for a Jem shirt. Bleh.
